TAG Heuer Reaffirms Support for UAE Motorsport

Dubai, UAE, 2 May 2018:  With regional and international motorsports moving from strength-to-strength in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Dubai Autodrome and the Swiss luxury watchmaker TAG Heuer have officially extended their partnership that has been steadfast for seven years running.

In collaboration since October 2012, TAG Heuer has become a familiar sight at the racing venue, with prominent branding on the 5.39-kilometre Grand Prix Circuit, as well as at the indoor and outdoor circuits of the Dubai Kartdrome, which hosts over 160,000 people each year.

TAG Heuer Middle East also demonstrates its enthusiastic support for local motorsport by hosting the annual “Night of Champions”, which celebrates and honours the championship victors of UAE circuit racing.  Each lucky winner is rewarded with a prized TAG Heuer timepiece.

Anne-Claire Richomme, Marketing & Communication Manager for TAG Heuer, commented, “The Dubai Autodrome has been our longest running partner in the region, and together we have gone from strength to strength over the years. Motor racing is part of the DNA of TAG Heuer. It has inspired some of our most prestigious chronographs and collections, and TAG Heuer’s long-standing commitment to the sport is one of the primary aspects that brings the brand to life.”

“TAG Heuer and Dubai Autodrome have become intricately linked through the passion, precision and power of motor racing, and we are very much looking forward to continued success together during the 2018-2019 season and into the future.”

Faisal Al Sahlawi, General Manager of Dubai Autodrome, added, “We are delighted to be working with TAG Heuer once again.  The 2018-2019 race season is promising to be busiest season yet.  Having a distinguished brand such as TAG Heuer on board only improves the overall stature of all of our events at Dubai Autodrome.”

“We look forward to a strong and successful partnership in 2018-2019, and for many years to come.”
