Nomads F&O Racing Take Opening ESKC Junior Round Victory

Dubai, UAE, 22 January 2020:  The Junior division of the 2019-2020 Emirates Schools Karting Championship (ESKC) officially kicked off with the opening round on Monday (20 January) evening at Dubai Kartdrome.

The top three finishing teams were all from the Nomad Category, teams with students from mixed schools.  Veteran team Dragsters DXB went into the opening round as a top favourite, but it was eclipsed by F&O Racing, comprised of Junior heavyweights Oscar Lambert and Federico Al Rifai.

The top ESKC squads, teams comprised of students of one school, were DESSC and Safa Community School Team 1, finishing fourth and fifth overall.  Isaac Hadri, Harry Hannam, Muhammad Durrani and Vehaan Subramanian edged out their rivals in a close contest to take home the Junior ESKC Class trophy.  Both DESSC and Safa finished the event with 100 points earned, but a higher qualifying position and an outright win in Race 4 put DESSC over the top.
