Please read carefully all the sporting and technical regulations as they have changed. DAMC Karting Championship 2011/2012 and Rotax Max Challenge are using the same template of sporting rules, however due to the specifics of each track, there will be small differences. We strongly advise you to read both regulation in order to identify the differences.
Please read carefully the Technical set of rules related to your class and make sure you respect the engine sealing rules in order to avoid any problem on the race day.
New drivers applying for a kart race license have to undergo an ARKS test. This test will include: A. Theoretical Test
B. Practical Test 15 minutes session on the Outdoor Kartdrome with your own Kart or one of ours.
The theoretical part of the test usually takes place at the Dubai Indoor Kartdrome conference room and the practical test at the Outdoor Kartdrome. The cost for the full ARKS test will be AED 200 to be paid at the Outdoor Kartdrome before the practical part of the test. Email Purificacao Pires for ARKS test dates and times.
Upon completion, the authorised instructor will ascertain if you passed the ARKS test or not. You will then have to obtain and fill in the necessary documents to apply for your racing license with ATCUAE. For further information regarding your race license, please email Matthew Norman at ATCUAE or call him on 050 4538445.
Please do not forget to renew your license with ATCUAE. Please note that race licenses are valid on an annual basis and not on a race season basis meaning your 2010 race license would have expired on 31 December 2010 – you must thus apply for a 2010 license through the ATCUAE.
For further information regarding your race license, please email Matthew Norman at ATCUAE or call him on 050 4538445.
Please note that all competitors are insured in respect of Third Party Public liability during official testing, practice and racing. They have to comply with the Championship rules set by the Championship organizer but also with these supplementary regulations. Please note that your 2010 ATC UAE racing license now includes personal accident insurance for each competitor. Please see details of your personal accident insurance cover with ATCUAE. We strongly advise you to read the terms of the personal insurance carefully. If you feel it’s necessary or if your licenses is issued by another ASN and doesn’t include personal insurance, please subscribe to additional personal insurance cover as you deem fit.
If you enter in the Rotax Max Challenge season championship the fee for this is payable to ProMotorsports. DAMC race entry fee is payable separately to the Kartdrome.
