Information on the forthcoming 2011/2012 DAMC racing championships in the UAE

2011/2012 DAMC UAE GT Car Championship

The DAMC UAE GT Championship is open to competitors driving closed roofed production based GT Cars, such as GT3, GT4, Challenge and Cup Cars.

2011/2012 DAMC UAE Touring Car Championship

The DAMC UAE Touring Car Championship is open to competitors driving mass production based closed
roofed Saloon Cars complying with Art 254 of the ISC.

2011/2012 DAMC UAE Sportbikes Championship

After discussions between the DAMC, ATCUAE, riders and motorcycle dealers it has been agreed that major efforts will be made to grow the UAE Sportbike Championship grids in the build-up and during the course of 2011/2012 season. With this in mind the following has been decided for the forthcoming season:

2011/2012 Sporting Regulations
2011/2012 Technical Regulations
All classes will be run, to regulations as per the 2010/2011 season.
Recruit, develop and train new riders from DAMC track day participants database.
Racing workshops/tuition for interested riders (more information to be released soon).
Introduction of the Rookie Cup for novice riders in the forthcoming season.
